Responsibilities
- Processing day-to-day bookkeeping
- Coding, reviewing and posting incoming invoices
- Processing electronic bank statements
- Handling travel expense reports and credit card reconciliations
- Fixed assets accounting
- Managing recurring entries and deferrals/accruals
- General account reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as an Accountant or Tax Clerk
- Experience in financial accounting/bookkeeping
- Independent, committed and detail-oriented working style
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Knowledge of modern ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One (SAP B1)
- Good command of German and English
