About the role
- Responsable Comptable overseeing multi-entity accounting operations for Shiftmove in France. Responsible for compliance, auditing, and team mentorship in a hybrid workspace.
Responsibilities
- Ensure end-to-end French accounting for multiple legal entities
- Supervise and review accounting entries
- Improve processes, controls and working methods
- Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors
- Oversee annual financial statements, tax filings and audit preparation
- Support the use and optimization of our tools
- Collaborate with global finance leadership
- Mentor and develop more junior team members
Requirements
- Over 7 years of accounting experience
- Expertise in French GAAP
- Ability to take initiative and drive projects
- Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable liaising with auditors and external partners
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Sage is a plus
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills
