About the role

• Project Manager overseeing planning and execution of construction projects for Surespan Construction Ltd. Leading project teams and managing contracts, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of project planning, execution, monitoring/control and closing.
• Represent the interests of Surespan Construction Ltd. in interactions with stakeholders.
• Read and thoroughly understand the contract.
• Assess and manage risk to achieve successful execution of the project.
• Provides overall administrative and technical direction for the project.
• Maintain safety standards in all aspects of the project.
• Contribute to the pre-award process of determining project scope, planning and estimating.
• Participate in the development of the project budget and schedule and develop the project execution plan.
• Monitor and control progress, costs and budgets throughout the project.
• Responsible for planning, scheduling and estimating any potential scope changes.

Requirements

• Experience in contract interpretation
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the capacity of Project Manager
• Other aspects of construction management including cost estimating
• Experience advising and reporting to senior and executive management
• Strong customer focus
• Demonstrates integrity, strong initiative, work ethic, focus on safety and quality of work
• Highly experienced individuals are desired
• Post-secondary education is an asset but not required.
