About the role
- Product Manager for Motherboard at Supermicro utilizing technical skills to develop customer solutions. Leading product development and managing cross-functional teams for technical specifications and roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing product development from initiation to mass production.
- Acting as the primary contact to understand requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
- Working closely with mechanical, electronic, and software teams to ensure technical specifications are met.
- Developing detailed schedules, tracking milestones, and managing project financials to ensure profitability.
- Identifying potential issues early and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensuring the final product meets all technical standards, certifications, and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Previous project management experience in Server, Consumer PC, & IoT Embedded products with either branding or ODM/OEM expertise, particularly in electronics or manufacturing.
- Understanding of product design, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for managing internal cross-functional teams and external clients, global and different time-zone operation/coordination preferred.
- Strong capability to multitask and manage complex, fast-paced projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
