Responsibilities
Write clear, empathetic and helpful copy for Client communications, including chatbot, letters, emails, forms, call scripts and more
Collaborate and lead meetings with subject matter experts, other professional writers, as well as brand, legal and compliance teams to ensure content meets editorial standards and best practices
Ensure content adheres to Sun Life’s brand tone of voice
Coordinate content approvals from draft to final copy and signoffs from business partners
Act as a plain language champion and resource for teams across the organization
Coordinate translations with French linguistics team
Support internal storytelling
Requirements
2 to 4 years of professional writing experience
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Strong curiosity about Clients and how to anticipate their needs by understanding behaviours
Commitment to a hands-on, proactive approach to learning about Sun Life Clients and products
Capacity to juggle multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity
Ability to edit content live in meetings with multiple opinions coming your way
Confidence presenting to large groups and articulating the reasons behind your content choices.
Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only
