About the role
- Change Management Consultant responsible for managing change activities within Retail Advice and Solutions. Supporting organizational transformations and ensuring successful change adoption among advisors and firms.
Responsibilities
- A Change Management Consultant is a key role accountable for change management activities within Retail Advice and Solutions.
- This role supports advisors and firms within all three distribution channels (SLFD, IID and Prospr).
- Changes may include organizational culture transformations, changes that impact business processes and roles, changes in underlying systems or technology platforms and any kind of change that impacts people.
- Their success depends on the successful adoption of new ways of working.
- Working with the Initiative Owner, ensure there is a clear articulation of the change story.
- Assess stakeholder analysis, risk and change impact.
- Execute on the various elements of the change management strategy.
- Anticipate and manage anticipated resistance as a key part of the Change Plan.
- Consult initiative sponsors or project team members as needed.
- Execute key activities identified within the integrated Change Plan that covers all key stakeholder audiences across the key change management activity levers.
Requirements
- University education in the areas of business, marketing, communications or journalism
- Previous experience with similar types of change or transformation initiatives
- Change management certification or designation preferred (e.g. Prosci Certification)
- Financial services experience an asset
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with prior / similar change initiatives
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences at all levels in an organization.
