About the role

  • AVP leading strategy and execution of growth initiatives at Sun Life. Overseeing client acquisition, partnerships, and team development within the Canadian financial services landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive growth strategy, value proposition, and execution roadmap in response to market dynamics and Client needs
  • Drive client acquisition and revenue growth through targeted strategies spanning traditional and non-traditional lead sources
  • Lead partnership strategy and execution—from concept and economic evaluation through pilot and scale
  • Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel engagement strategies to drive cross-sell and deepening Client relationships
  • Spearhead the annual business planning process, including financial modelling, forecasting, and creating presentations for senior executives
  • Build and develop a high-performing, diverse growth team of 10+ employees

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive leadership experience with mandates that drives P&L, preferably in a combination of financial services and startups
  • Bilingual proficiency (French/English)
  • University degree, or equivalent industry experience
  • Professional designation in Finance, Accounting, or Marketing
  • Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and business development skills
