About the role
- Sales Systems Engineer responsible for technology evaluations and customer engagement for Stryker’s Vocera solutions. Collaborating with IT teams and sales to optimize deployments and educate customers.
Responsibilities
- Actively leading the technology evaluation stage of the sales process
- Articulating Stryker’s Vocera technology solutions and product positioning to business and technical users
- Partnering with the Sales team to help educate customers on the value of Stryker’s Vocera solutions through product demonstrations and presentations
- Working closely with the customer's IT team to ensure they fully understand our deployment methodologies and requirements
- Qualifying our customer's network infrastructure via assessments using Ekahau AI Pro Survey, Omnipeek, and Wireshark analysis tools
- Designing Vocera architecture for customer deployments and preparing customer infrastructure assessment reports for our professional services team
- Responding to RFIs/RFPs and IT questionnaires and taking part in trade shows, conferencing and marketing events as needed
Requirements
- B.S. in Information Technology or a related field or 6+ years equivalent work experience
- Understanding of Windows, Linux and Cloud architectures
- 50% travel throughout Australia depending on customer requirements
- Enterprise 802.11 wireless and LAN/WAN networking experience a plus
- Hands on experience deploying Mobile Applications for Smartphones via MDM solutions a plus
- Experience with middleware and EMR/EHR applications a plus
- Integration knowledge and experience with 3rd party systems (e.g. Nurse Call, Patient Monitoring, Middleware, and SIP trunking) a plus
- Wi-Fi or Route/Switch certifications preferred
- Experience with SIP and Traditional TDM Telephony a plus
