About the role
- Data Warehouse Developer responsible for DWH administration and ETL processes in a medium-sized enterprise. Ensuring data quality and collaborating with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Administration, Entwicklung und Optimierung des DWH, insbesondere der ETL-Prozesse mit PL/SQL oder anderen Tools/Sprachen sowie dem Design und Pflege von Dimensionen, Fakten und Hierarchien
- Entwicklung von Views und Aggregationen
- Normalisierung und Denormalisierung von Datenmodellen
- Abstimmung und Dokumentation mit Fachabteilungen über die Entwicklung des DWH
- Validierung der Datenqualität und -konsistenz sowie Datenbereinigungen
- Erstellung von Testfällen und Durchführung von Tests im Kontext des DWH
- Ausführung von AdHoc-Datenbankabfragen (Quellsystem und DWH) und Bereitstellung von Daten für BI-Tools
- Sonderaufgaben im Datenkontext aus dem IT-Fachbereich
Requirements
- Wünschenswert ist ein abgeschlossenes Studium auf dem Gebiet der Informatik, der Informationstechnik, eines mathematischen, natur-, wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen, technischen Studienganges jeweils mit Schwerpunkt Datenverarbeitung oder gleichwertige Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen
- Idealerweise nachweisbare Erfahrung in der Datenmodellierung und im Datenbankdesign
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse in SQL und in der Implementierung von komplexen ETL-Prozessen (von Vorteil sind Kenntnisse in PL/SQL)
- Nachweisbare Erfahrungen mit gängigen BI-Tools (z. B. PowerBI)
- Ausgeprägtes analytisches Denkvermögen und eine systematische, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
- Hohes Maß an Selbstständigkeit, Sorgfalt und Qualitätsbewusstsein
- Sehr gute kommunikative Fähigkeiten und sichere Beherrschung der deutschen Sprache in Wort und Schrift.
