About the role

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of microservices, APIs, and responsive front-ends integrated with complex systems.
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Agile methodologies to ensure scalability, reliability, and high performance.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions, offering technical input and learning from senior engineers.
- Implement/Support Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation for scalable deployments across AWS environments.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, perform peer code reviews, and ensure quality standards across all development efforts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and mission teams to deliver high-value, integrated software solutions.
- Assist in the development/refinement of data models and workflows—performing problem scoping, data cleaning, analysis, and testing.
- Support compliance with cybersecurity and RMF/ATO requirements to maintain operational integrity and security standards.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- 4-6 years of full-stack software engineering experience in complex, production environments.
- Proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience working with MERN/PERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience developing and deploying applications using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Docker, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), and CI/CD integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
