About the role

  • Associate Director leading digital product management at Reed in Partnership. Shaping the future of digital innovation and enhancing user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the organisation’s digital product management function, setting the vision and strategy for digital products and services that deliver measurable value to users and the company
  • Own the digital product portfolio, ensuring the portfolio aligns with organisational objectives, and champion user-centred, data-driven decision-making
  • Build and lead a high-performing digital product management team, incorporating product design, management, testing, implementation and strategy
  • Create, implement and direct the future development of the digital product management and development strategy and methodology
  • Define and communicate the digital product vision and strategy
  • Manage competing inputs to make robust product management prioritisation decisions
  • Lead the delivery of existing and new digital products through the product lifecycle – identification, research, development, testing, implementation and continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement digital products on time, to budget and meeting our commissioners and customers’ requirements
  • Work closely with product engineering, service design, and delivery teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of digital products and services
  • Embed Agile and Lean practices throughout the product development and management lifecycle, driving continuous improvement and innovation
  • Establish and lead a Community of Practice for product management and Agile Ways of Working, including building strong linkage and knowledge sharing with the wider company.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable digital product leadership skills and experience of managing successful, high performing individuals
  • A proven track record of successfully leading and owning a product delivery lifecycle at scale
  • An excellent track record of delivering successful digital product management across multiple products, driving user and stakeholder satisfaction and large-scale growth within an Agile delivery environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and be an effective communicator
  • A strong understanding of the product delivery lifecycle
  • A sound understanding of financial, contractual and risk management methods
  • Evidence of following formal project management processes and protocols
  • Evidence of effectively contributing to the future shape of a business
  • Evidence of successfully engaging with and influencing multiple stakeholders
  • Expertise in Agile delivery and modern product management practices.
