About the role
- Nurse Unit Manager leading the Adult Mixed Specialty Unit at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside. Overseeing operations and mentoring nursing staff for clinical excellence and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Lead our Adult Mixed Specialty Unit (Ward 1B) to drive clinical excellence
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy Medical/Surgical ward
- Empower and mentor nursing staff
- Champion clinical excellence, safety and patient experience
Requirements
- Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Registered Nurse
- Recent experience as a Nurse Unit Manager in ideally, a private acute hospital setting
- Experience in mentoring and leading large teams
- Demonstrated achievement of organisational targets, in resource management, budgeting and workforce planning
- Experience providing advanced clinical care consistent with our mission and philosophy of our hospital
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
