About the role
- Network Engineer maintaining global trading infrastructure and optimizing performance for SSW-Trading. Responsible for complex network operations and ensuring reliability and security in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Planung, Aufbau und Betrieb unserer LAN-, DMZ- und WAN-Umgebungen
- Konfiguration und Betrieb von Routern, Switches und Firewalls sowie Routing/Security (z. B. VLAN, BGP, IPSec, ACLs, Multicast)
- Aufbau und Pflege sicherer Verbindungen zu Börsen und Connectivity-Providern sowie Troubleshooting komplexer Netzwerkpfade
- Mitarbeit bei Hardware-Rollouts, Standortanbindungen und Architektur-Optimierungen
- Weiterentwicklung von Monitoring/Observability, Evaluierung neuer Technologien und aktiver Wissenstransfer
Requirements
- Abgeschlossenes Informatikstudium oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Betrieb komplexer Netzwerke (2nd/3rd Level)
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in Routing, Switching, Firewalling und Netzwerk-Security
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
