About the role
- IT Network Administrator playing a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of systems. Contributing to infrastructure operations, deployment, and providing expert-level support in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure stable operation of our infrastructure and contribute to its ongoing evolution and scalability.
- Actively participate in deployment projects, including server installation and configuration, ensuring smooth rollouts and minimal disruption.
- Provide expert-level support in our corporate production environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Requirements
- 2 - 5 years of experience in system security, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server technologies and server hardware.
- Hands-on experience with VMware (v6.7–8.0) and practical knowledge of data management tools—ideally Backup Exec 23.
- Highly knowledgeable of cloud services, server & virtual server topographies and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, with experience working with Microsoft Defender for OT.
- A good grasp of network principles and practical experience with OT networks, including TCP/IP field bus systems and relevant protocols.
- Experience of configuration, management, and administration of network services: e.g., DHCP, DNS, IP Address Management, VPNs, Syslog, NTP.
- Familiar with network and server monitoring tools such as OpManager or Solarwinds.
- Experience in installing, configuring, managing, and administering network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches, wireless)—CCNA-level knowledge is a plus.
- Familiar with IP & virtual networking design.
- Flexible and open to occasional business travel.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to collaborate effectively in an international environment, as well as in the Polish language.
