About the role
- Head of Accounting leading financial operations at Sonova's Swiss headquarters. Ensuring compliance under IFRS and Swiss GAAP while collaborating with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and own financial accounting and reporting for the Swiss HQ and holding companies
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings under IFRS and local GAAP
- Oversee core finance operations (RTR, PTP, OTC), intercompany accounting, and cash pooling
- Own statutory reporting, Swiss and international VAT, and support tax accounting activities
- Drive process optimization and system improvements (SAP) in collaboration with shared service centers
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with several years of accounting experience
- Strong expertise in IFRS, Swiss GAAP, statutory reporting, VAT, and tax accounting
- Proven experience working with shared service organizations and complex finance operations
- Solid SAP knowledge and a passion for process and system improvements
- Fluent in German and English
