About the role
- Finance Analyst in Etex analyzing data for commercial strategy and financial performance. Collaborating with teams to build models, insights, and report outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with commercial teams and the Commercial Finance Manager to understand analytical needs and deliver insights on time
- Provide accurate, data‑driven analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
- Work cross‑functionally with commercial, finance, supply chain, and operations teams to deliver projects and shared objectives
- Analyse revenue, margins, and profitability, presenting insights in clear, agreed‑upon formats
- Support monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting
- Provide meaningful commentary that highlights risks, opportunities, and trends
- Support annual sales budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles
- Build scenario models to evaluate performance under different business conditions
- Provide financial input for new product launches, monthly results, and commercial initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
- Professional qualification (CPA, CMA, CA) preferred
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong quantitative and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
- 3 years in finance, commercial analysis, or business analytics
- Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset and adaptability
