About the role
- Finance Manager at Solstice managing cash flow forecasts and balance sheet initiatives. Leading a team in strategic financial planning and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide partnership to RAS to create increased visibility into cash management and performance with the goal of optimizing working capital and strengthening the balance sheet.
- Collaborate with colleagues in supporting RAS’s Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan and forecast processes.
- Daily oversight, management, and performance reporting of cash including inventory reporting, AP, AR, and cash flow forecasting.
- Financial modeling and refinement of 13-week cash flows.
- Support and identify ways to implement improvements to further optimize cash management including working capital initiatives and programs.
- Manage balance sheet forecasting by working with commercial teams, regions and plants.
- Drive the development and optimization of tools for improved cash management and balance sheet forecasting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with significant exposure to balance sheet management and reporting
- Proven track record of successfully developing and refining forecasts and analyzing variances
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing cross functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multiple competing priorities
- Financial systems and reporting experience
- Experience developing forecasts and operating plans
- Exceptional analytical skills (linking results to drivers)
- Direct communication with clarity at all levels
- Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills
