About the role
- Lead Information Security projects, focusing on Cyber Essentials assessments for clients in the Not-for-Profit sector. Oversee delivery, team leadership, and client communication in the London area.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Information Security projects including Cyber Essentials assessments
- Assist in the delivery of projects to clients, including security improvements for federated organisations
- Communicate effectively and lead a team
- Occasionally travel around the UK as required.
Requirements
- Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessor qualifications preferable as a Lead Assessor
- Pen-testing qualifications (added advantage)
- Up to date with relevant industry standards (e.g. IASME standard, NCSC Cyber Essentials scheme)
- Independent assessment of clients to Cyber Essentials Plus standard
- Security reviews for firewalls, web applications, networks, Windows, Linux, MacOS and other operating systems
- Review of access controls, computer configuration, Active Directory, and system group policies
- Vulnerability assessments on systems, networks and websites using automated scanning tools
- Prepare and present written and oral reports for clients
- Proactive advice to clients on good security practices
- Lead the team of Cyber Essentials Assessors on relevant projects.
