About the role

  • Graduate Geospatial Analyst providing mapping and analysis support for GIS projects in the UK. Collaborating with teams to adhere to tight deadlines and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mapping and analysis support to the Senior Geospatial & Data Solution group
  • Georeferencing and digitising map data
  • Creating maps/drawings for reports and Environmental Impact Assessments
  • Capturing, managing, and analysing data in GIS from multiple sources and in various formats
  • Preparing field maps for surveys
  • Preparation and maintenance of data in ArcGIS Online Environments
  • Collaborating with the team to deliver projects to tight deadlines and budgets
  • Adhering to QA process and standards for data management and drawing outputs

Requirements

  • Recent Graduate or about to complete an accredited GIS based degree
  • Proficient in the use of ESRI ArcGIS Pro and software extensions such as 3D & Spatial Analyst
  • Working knowledge of geodatabases
  • Working knowledge of Model Builder and/or Python advantageous
  • Experience of using ArcGIS Online
  • Conscientious worker able to deliver a consistent high standard with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and build strong relationships throughout the business
  • Good organisational skills with proven ability to work to deadlines
