About the role
- Analyst providing valuation advisory services for commercial real estate debt. Engaging in financial reporting and risk applications across various financial instruments.
Responsibilities
- Provide valuation advisory services, risk management and ALM solutions
- Support the internal team with all aspects of CRE debt and structured securities valuation
- Client interaction, data management, and other ad hoc requests
- Manage and execute certain projects independently
- Work with colleagues to produce valuation analyses for clients as needed
- Perform model-based valuations
- Create custom reports for clients as needed
- Perform certain research functions related to CRE debt and CMBS
- Interface with clients to explain methodologies and resolve valuation issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent level of education and experience
- Entry level professional with 0-2 years of industry and/or relevant experience
- Experience in Structured Finance including CMBS, CRE mortgages preferred
- Strong technical skills and practical experience with cash flow and valuation concepts preferred
- Advanced excel skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Team player & ability to multi-task and cross-train as needed based on business demands and performance
- Detail and quality oriented, with superior verbal and written communication skills
- Additional skills preferred, not required: use of Bloomberg, and Intex or Trepp models
