About the role
- Test & Validation engineer ensuring quality and reliability of software solutions for SiPearl's CPUs. Collaborating with teams to design and execute test strategies and improve product quality.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain test strategies and test plans aligned with functional and technical specifications
- Design, develop and maintain manual and automated test cases and scripts
- Ensure that all FW/SW stacks are integrated properly and meet the system requirements
- Execute functional, non-regression and performance tests, analyze results and track defects
- Work closely with development and project teams to investigate issues and improve product quality
- Communicate test results, risks and quality indicators to stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools
- Supervise and mentor interns, contributing to topic definition and recruitment-related activities
Requirements
- Professional fluency in English within an international environment
- Strong expertise in software testing tools, methodologies and best practices
- Solid knowledge of programming languages, test automation and scripting
- Experience with continuous integration tools and version control systems (Git)
- Practical experience with software protocols and interfaces (SCMI, PLDM, PSCI etc... Redfish, Robo framework)
- Strong understanding of different software stack (BLx, TFA, UEFI, BIOS etc...)
- Good understanding of board level components and their physical interfaces (BMC, VRMs, FLASH etc... I2C/I3C/SPI/GPIOs)
- Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes and propose effective solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
- High level of autonomy, adaptability and initiative
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and scientific rigor
- Ethical mindset, respect for confidentiality and reliable time management
- Degree in Engineering or a Master’s in electronics, software engineering or a related field
- At least 7 years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance
