Responsibilities
Lead and execute a human capital strategy aligned with company growth and operational priorities
Partner with senior leadership to strengthen leadership capability, accountability, and employee engagement
Drive workforce planning, including labor transition, reskilling, and talent redeployment across both businesses
Implement and reinforce performance management systems that connect goals, behaviors, and results
Establish and embed execution frameworks (e.g., OKRs, leadership operating rhythms) to drive accountability
Oversee all HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, training, compensation & benefits, HRIS, payroll, and compliance
Use workforce data and HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve organizational performance
Support M&A activity including HR due diligence and post-acquisition integration
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, health & safety, and food safety (SQF/GMP) standards
Requirements
8–10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or operational environments
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Strong knowledge of employment standards, labour relations, and HR compliance
Proven experience implementing HR systems, performance frameworks, and workforce development programs
Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with Operations and Finance
