Responsibilities
- Study insurance industry trends and consumer behavior.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify differentiators and opportunities.
- Evaluate market data to support strategic product decisions.
- Create and review insurance products, defining coverages, assistance services and general terms and conditions.
- Participate in the development of new products or improvements to existing ones.
- Ensure products are aligned with customer needs and the company’s strategy.
- Collaborate with underwriting, pricing and actuarial teams to align pricing strategy and margins.
- Monitor indicators such as loss ratio, average ticket and sales performance.
- Propose adjustments to maintain product profitability and competitiveness.
- Ensure compliance with SUSEP regulations and other regulatory bodies.
- Support the preparation of technical and regulatory documents such as Product General Conditions and Technical Notes.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products: Automobile, Life and Home.
- Knowledge of SUSEP regulations and industry regulatory framework.
- Familiarity with pricing models and performance indicators.
- Basic actuarial and statistical knowledge (desirable).
- Experience in product development and portfolio management.
- Experience with Jira™ Software for specification and demand management.
- Experience with digital customer journeys, APIs and system integrations (a plus).
