About the role
- Associate Asset Manager for renewable energy asset management team helping maximize profitability of operations. Engaging in compliance, reporting, and collaboration with various internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior Asset Managers to manage third party agreements
- Track activities in connection with environmental monitoring and compliance
- Create, improve, and deliver effective monthly reports about the portfolio’s performance
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Develop and maintain a compliance calendar identifying all regular compliance deadlines
- Review and develop responses to all inquiries from government and regulatory agencies
- Ensure proper submission of all responses to compliance-related issues
- Coordinate with colleagues to ensure vendor management and procurement processes are followed
- Track project compliance with all warranty requirements
- Deliver timely responses and insight to internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 1-3 years of work experience in the renewable energy industry
- Advanced knowledge in Excel (e.g., PivotTable), SQL a plus
- Demonstrated ability to thrive while working in ambiguous situations
- Ability to concisely frame issues by providing context, analysis, recommendations and risk/benefit tradeoffs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Dynamic interpersonal skills with the ability to use influence rather than authority
- High attention to detail and the ability to work proactively
- Ability to multi-task and arbitrate between conflicting priorities
- Ability to travel as needed (minimal travel anticipated)
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
