About the role
- SAP Developer designing and developing applications for Schaeffler, supporting various business requirements and IT teams. Engaging in continuous learning and adapting to technological advancements.
Responsibilities
- Understanding the processes, needs and requirements of business departments to provide the best possible solution
- Consulting IT departments working on specific SAP modules to ensure consistent experience to the various users on the business side
- Developing SAP applications and programs based on blueprints provided by HQ-IT contacts and perform regular usability tests
- Assuring the integrative functionality of developed applications and guaranteeing that all programs are completed on schedule and according to the development guidelines
- Analysing the developments and providing technical support of the system after it has been delivered
- Staying informed about the latest technological advancement and changes in the world of SAP development and adapting to these changes by self-training and research work
Requirements
- Completed studies in computer science, computer engineering or software engineering
- Good prior experience in ABAP programming is essential
- Knowledge in Restful ABAP Programing Model, CDS Views, BRF+, Workflow, OData Services is needed
- Experience with S/4HANA Frontend and/or SAP Cloud Solution is an advantage
- Very good command of the Polish language (min.B2 level)
- Very good command of the English language (min.B2 level)
- Knowledge of German is considered an asset
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills and experience in agile method
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team
