Responsibilities
Define and continuously develop the People and Culture strategy and plan for the Business Unit, ensuring Scania Global People processes and tools full adoption and across the organisation.
Drive talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, and competence development to secure todays and future business success.
Develop local People processes, policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labour legislation, global policies, regulations and transparency in organization.
Daily act as the People Business Partner supporting managers and employees in Estonia.
Lead and hands on contribute to the key ongoing projects, such as People Centricity annual activities and Baltic time management system implementation.
Lead, motivate, and develop the Baltic People and Culture team.
Support Baltic Health and Safety Coordinators in enhancing the safety culture and driving continuous improvements to ensure a healthy, safe, and sustainable work environment.
Strengthen employer branding, attraction, recruitment, and retention activities.
Ensure HR controlling, reporting, and administrative processes run smoothly.
Represent the company in labour relations, employer branding activities, and external forums.
Contribute actively to the Northeast Europe regional P&C community and share best practices.
Act as a change agent across the organisation, supporting business in change projects.
Requirements
A higher university degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
Proven 5+ years’ experience in HR leadership responsible for health & safety, talent development, recruitment, workforce planning, competence development, performance management, succession planning and HR administration responsibilities
Deep, hands-on knowledge of Estonian employment law and its practical application in business; good understanding of Latvian and Lithuanian employment law
Fluency in Estonian and English
Strong leadership and change management skills
Experience in operating in complex or multinational structures
Strategic mindset with hands-on execution willingness
Capability to manage HR budgets and evaluate HR effectiveness
Comfortable with HR analytics, HR KPI reporting, and using digital solutions.
