About the role
- Architect responsible for designing scalable, high-performance systems at Scan-IT, focusing on integration and innovation in the logistics sector.
Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Solutions: Design end-to-end solutions for integrated business applications and ERP systems, ensuring scalability, high availability, and performance.
- AI/ML Integration: Define the overall AI/ML architecture and frameworks. Support the development and implementation of machine learning models, natural language processing (NLP), and intelligent decision engines into core ERP processes.
- Enterprise Integration & EDI Framework: Lead the design and oversight of a robust EDI/EI framework. Integrate backend systems through real-time APIs and asynchronous data pipelines.
- API & Event-Driven Architecture: Design and optimize JSON/RESTful APIs and event-driven services to facilitate real-time data exchange.
- Cloud & DevOps Enablement: Focus strategically on designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native application deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP using automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Enterprise Programs & Collaboration: Contribute to strategic initiatives such as the NextGen Program. Ensure application and integration designs align with performance, scalability, and long-term architectural goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software or solutions architecture, including at least 2 years in AI/ML-enabled enterprise solution design.
- Hands-on experience implementing AI/ML solutions in ERP domains such as quote automation, document processing, or finance automation.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/CQL, data modeling, and distributed systems architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Java, Bash, Ansible).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and data streaming platforms (Kafka, Spark).
- Experience standardizing enterprise integrations across platforms and systems.
- Solid understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
