About the role
- Accounting Manager overseeing accounting functions across Manila and Cebu. Preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and internal policies and procedures.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
- In-charge in preparation of payroll.
- Other duties may be assigned by the Managing Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting manager or senior accounting role
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practices
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
