About the role
- Operations Communications Summer Intern at SBH supporting day-to-day communication efforts to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. Hands-on exposure to operations, communications, and project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating, editing, and distributing internal communications, organizing operational updates, and helping ensure information flows accurately across teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, contribute to real projects, and gain practical experience in operational strategy and stakeholder communications.
- Support process improvement initiatives by documenting workflows and communication best practices.
- Assist with planning and execution of internal campaigns, meetings or operational initiatives.
- Monitor feedback to evaluate communication effectiveness.
- Perform general administrative and project support tasks as needed within the Operations team.
Requirements
- This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work three days per week at the Support Center in Legacy West, Plano, TX.
- This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
- Availability is required from June 1 through August 7, 2026, with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week.
- Basic understanding of internal communications, business operations, or organizational processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to edit, proofread, and format content for clarity and consistency
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools common office tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Google Workspace)
- Understanding of collaboration in a team-based, cross-functional environment
- Basic project coordination and task-tracking skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
