About the role
- Work student supporting IT Architecture at RWE Supply & Trading. Collaborate with teams on IT infrastructure strategies and projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Architecture and Strategy team to support existing and new initiatives
- Support a key project aimed at creating transparency of IT infrastructure data to enable business intelligence and automation
- Support and implement proofs of concept for new technologies (data lake, Power Automate, Python, etc.)
- Conduct market research on new technologies, services, and frameworks
- Assist architects with design and implementation activities
- Help with data collection, analysis, and summary reporting
- Support business and technical analysis activities (including requirements gathering, analysis, design support) and documentation
- Create and maintain knowledge and news articles (MS Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Provide support for other Architecture & Strategy projects as needed
Requirements
- Enrolled Bachelor's or Master's student (m/f/d) in engineering, a STEM discipline, or another relevant field (e.g., data analytics, data engineering, software engineering, business analytics)
- Familiarity with programming and tools such as Power Automate, MS Office Suite, Python, and Power BI
- Analytical, structured, and practice-oriented approach to problem solving
- Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Strong teamwork skills and comfortable communicating with stakeholders
- Confident command of English, both written and spoken
- German language skills are beneficial but not required
