About the role

Responsibilities
- Act as a visionary to proactively help define the direction of future IT Products & Services and validate software designs.
- Collaborate with other architects, systems analysts and developers to deliver the highest-quality solutions using cutting-edge technologies.
- Define models, including solution patterns, to guide solution decisions.
- Participate in all phases of the application development lifecycle: research and design, development, testing, deployment and support.
- Align the architecture strategy with business objectives and the IT organization’s long-term strategic planning.
- Perform technical and functional design of application and infrastructure components for new solutions in accordance with the defined functional design.
- Provide expertise on business processes and change management.
- Contribute innovative ideas and support continuous service improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT Solution Architecture or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of architectural concepts and design principles.
- Experience with SAP technologies, particularly in the context of Quality Management (QM), data management and S/4HANA.
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies.
- Experience in data management architecture and understanding of the technical context (SAP + cloud solutions / AWS).
- Ability to define the most appropriate technical framework to support business needs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to represent the Quality PSL to other functions and ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.
- Ability to challenge requirements and prioritize backlog items.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to translate abstract concepts into well-documented, pragmatic solutions.
- Good command of the English language.
