About the role
- Senior Manager, Site Controller leading site Finance Department at Collins Aerospace. Providing financial leadership and supporting business objectives through effective financial planning and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Drive improvement and accountability across the operation
- Work closely with the value stream lead to ensure transparency in all financial reporting
- Consolidate and prepare monthly financials, journal entries, latest forecasts, annual and long range financial plans for Value Stream and site leadership.
- Reviews financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) for accuracy
- Perform variance analysis and communicate results to finance and value stream leadership.
- Support quarterly/annual/ad hoc management reporting packages as needed.
- Be a key business partner, to Site and Value Stream leadership and work as part of a cross functional team.
- Champion process improvements and standard work documentation to streamline and create efficiencies.
- Provide ad hoc support, analysis, business cases and guidance to cross functional teams as required
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
- Experience in people leadership (including, but not limited to, performance management, talent development, engagement etc.)
- Accounting and finance experience
- CPA/CMA certification
- Experience supporting manufacturing and plant operations
- Experience in FP&A with demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships within all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Proficiency in ERP system (SAP preferred) and experience with OneStream
- Advanced excel skills, Microsoft Office suite of products
