Senior Manager leading digital sourcing initiatives for RTX Aerospace and Defense. Driving supplier partnerships and capabilities while managing procurement and negotiations for network services.
Responsibilities
Drives contract requirements and negotiations for network hardware & services (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, Cisco, Palo Alto, Zscaler…)
Contingent labor contracts processing for network tools and services
Aligns with Digital IT stakeholders on vendor consolidation activities to drive contract savings
Develops and manages an integrated master schedule of engagements, renewals, RFQs, etc.
Reviews Statements of Work (SOW) documents and ensures sourcing best practices are followed
Analyze pricing and negotiating complex technology agreements
Build strong partnerships across various stakeholders (legal, finance, etc.)
Develop strong supplier relationships to drive effectiveness and value
Supports the investigation, negotiation and favorable resolution of disputes with suppliers
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively
Develop executive level analysis & presentations
Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
Experience with sourcing roles and functions, including creating sourcing roadmaps, developing category strategies, licensing/asset management, risk management, and requirement change management
Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, services and equipment including LAN, WLAN, Voice, Security appliances, Software-Defined and converged solutions
Expertise in drafting, negotiating and interpreting sophisticated commercial agreements; Excellent negotiations and sourcing skills with understanding of different contract types
Understanding software contracts with the ability to manage licensing, maintenance, and support requirements
Must possess strong collaboration skills enabling effective communication and working internally with functional service owners in Enterprise Services and across business units, as well as externally with suppliers
Demonstrated ability to understand financial information, budgets and program performance and develop strategies and business cases to improve performance in these areas
