Responsible for the design and development of the Support Solution for the Dreadnought Crew Training programme.
Reporting to the Integration Manager, this position requires exceptional knowledge and experience across all Integrated Logistic Support disciplines.
Successfully driving the support solution design to assure incremental and progressive acceptance of in-service support solution.
Designing and developing the support solution across multiple training devices.
Evolve 'Design for Supportability Requirements' and ensure compliance.
Responsibility for implementation of contractual ILS requirements.
Assist in the delivery of device specific Support Artefacts.
Maintenance of the Logistics Information Record and Logistics Support Analysis Record.
Attend Programme Design Reviews and In-Service support reviews to ensure ILS project drivers are fully understood.
Support to RUK Bids and Opportunities as required.
Requirements
Strong understanding of ILS principles and lifecycle management.
Experience with Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) tools and standards (e.g., S3000L, DEF STAN 00-600).
Knowledge of reliability engineering and supportability analysis.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
In-depth experience of Obsolescence Management.
Supportability engineering skills to analyse the product supportability to develop and deliver a support solution.
A high level of competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
A comprehensive understanding of Technical Publications and Support Documents.
Track record of supportability case preparation and delivery.
Flexibility to travel regularly within the UK to support meetings.
