About the role
- Associate Value Stream Director overseeing Legacy Sikorsky Programs at Collins Aerospace. Leading cross-functional teams for production deliveries and customer satisfaction in hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and program alignment.
- Address and resolve commercial and contractual misalignments with the customer.
- Lead a cross-functional Program Management Team (PMT) to deliver on the value stream’s key objectives, including: On-time hardware delivery with uncompromising quality standards.
- Adherence to Company Funded Engineering (CFE) budget and schedule requirements.
- Achievement of inventory reduction and overdue order targets.
- Collaborate with product line teams to identify and execute margin expansion opportunities in alignment with overall program goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks across technical, commercial, and industrial domains. Develop actionable risk mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve program execution and develop associated implementation plans.
- Deliver clear and concise program updates, including status, risks, and opportunities, at regular cadence reviews and to all levels of business leadership as required.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience.
- Background in program management, aftermarket program management, supply chain management and/or operations management.
- Prior experience leading cross-functional teams in an aerospace or defense environment.
- Strong customer relationship management skills, with working experience resolving contractual and operational challenges.
- Experience in a customer facing role is desired.
