About the role
- Head of Technology Accounts responsible for managing technology assets and optimizing spending at Roche. Lead a team in ensuring compliance and maximizing ROI across technology partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Own the functional roadmap for Software Asset Management
- Ensure the entire lifecycle of software assets is managed to maintain compliance and minimize risk
- Serves as the main contact for internal partners, actively managing relationships and expectations
- Align technology account roadmaps with modern architecture (Cloud, AI/ML, SaaS) in regulated environments
- Lead enterprise-wide technology risk assessments and ensure timely remediation of findings or licensing deviations
- Implement and oversee tools and processes for tracking asset utilization and license entitlement
- Define and monitor KPIs/OKRs to analyze vendor performance
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of vendor account managers
Requirements
- 10+ years in IT Asset Management, Technology Sourcing, or IT Operations
- Leadership experience in global, multidisciplinary teams
- Strong understanding of modern technology landscapes (Cloud, DevOps, Digital Platforms)
- Expert knowledge of SAM frameworks and major vendor licensing models
- Ability to lead through influence and partnership
- Strong ability to mentor a technical team in a complex, global stakeholder ecosystem
