About the role

  • Sales professional leading strategic accounts in public sector for Ricoh, specializing in modernization through technology. Building relationships and expanding service offerings in Quebec.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Identify the client’s business initiatives and articulate, from Ricoh’s perspective, how services can achieve the desired business outcomes;
  • Use consultative selling techniques with a focus on customer value and return on investment (ROI);
  • Prospect and develop new clients, including planning and conducting introductory meetings both virtually and in person;
  • Research and understand alignment across ministries and agencies, initiatives, policies, and client types;
  • Collaborate with peers, including supporting advisors and specialists to design solutions that drive transformation and fit the client’s complex environment;
  • Present strategic prospecting plans that incorporate stakeholder feedback, including input from managers, advisors, operations, legal, and support teams;
  • Manage complex contract negotiations and act as an intermediary for the legal group and senior management team;
  • Review complex public sector requests for proposals (RFPs) and lead Ricoh’s response;
  • Use Salesforce to manage account activities, pipeline progress, and forecasts.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree (preferably in Business)
  • Experience in a B2B environment, in IT, or in consultative sales (preferably in the public sector)
  • Established relationships and contacts within the Quebec public sector market
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong reporting and forecasting abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required (and auto insurance in accordance with Ricoh policy).
