About the role

• Technical writer creating logistic support analysis and documentation for marine gear systems at RENK Group. Involves process optimization and data management in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services such as spare-parts lists/documentation/spare-parts catalogs (ETK) for marine gearbox systems
• Create a Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) according to customer specifications and/or international standards and guidelines, including identification of spare parts and maintenance of metadata in customer-specific and internal databases
• Create and manage graphics and spare-parts catalogs with required exploded views for use in accordance with S2000M and S1000D
• Exchange data with the customer and independently review reviewer comments and implement required changes
• Optimize and expand processes taking into account industry-specific standards, regulations and IT systems
• Coordinate required procurement of services such as translations, images and image plates, etc., from external partners

Requirements

• Completed technical degree or equivalent qualification, e.g., state-certified technician
• Expertise in the creation of graphics (vector graphics, S1000D)
• Solid knowledge of ILS/LSA and the ASD S-Series and MIL standards
• Experience in developing and processing spare-parts data
• In-depth knowledge of special-purpose machinery/products with regard to maintainability, repair and spare-parts scope is an advantage
• Analytical thinking for the structured handling of complex issues and a strong affinity for data
• Very good skills in Excel, SAP, Doxis and Teamcenter
• Experience with software for creating spare-parts catalogs (Matconf, Isodraw, Teamcenter Visualization)
• Very good written and spoken German and English
