- Independently procure components and services, taking technical and economic aspects into account
- Quotation management: obtain, evaluate and compare offers, and independently conduct price and contract negotiations
- Strategically manage and develop suppliers, including evaluation and risk management
- Ensure material availability in close coordination with Production, Engineering and Logistics — complying with delivery dates, cost targets and quality requirements
- Analyze and monitor procurement markets and derive appropriate sourcing strategies
- Schedule and control delivery processes in collaboration with production planning and the central control office
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical Engineering), Business Administration with a technical focus, or comparable qualification
- Basic understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes
- Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills, team orientation and negotiation ability
- High level of personal responsibility, cost awareness and strategic thinking
- Initial experience in an industrial environment, ideally in machine and plant engineering, is an advantage
- Initial experience with SAP (especially PP and MM modules) and common MS Office applications is a plus
- Very good German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken
