About the role
- Strategic Business Consultant managing customer communications projects at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. Delivering initiatives on schedule while coordinating cross-functional team efforts and contributing to communication strategies.
Responsibilities
- Delivering assigned projects on schedule and aligned with the critical needs of the business or external customer.
- Constructing the Work Breakdown Structure for the project as needed; demonstrate proficiency in using project management software tools.
- Managing the project lifecycle from start to finish.
- Coordinating and facilitating project meetings and negotiating with staffing managers for project resources and other project needs.
- Representing Customer Communication Program Management in cross-functional teams within the LexisNexis RISK Solutions organization.
- Identifying and making recommendations for improvement to existing processes and procedures.
- Maintaining knowledge of project management trends and best practices.
- Managing multiple projects running concurrently.
Requirements
- Have Bachelor's or 7 years equivalent experience.
- Have 5+ years of project management experience; in a program office and hands-on experience executing complex programs would be advantageous.
- Have Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt or PMI certification.
- Have experience in presenting to executive level audiences.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills; including the ability to work across a highly matrixed organization.
- Have demonstrated leadership experience in a dynamic environment with frequent and substantial priority changes.
- Experience with stringent timelines and major resource constraints would be advantageous.
- Experience with MS Office and project planning software required.
- Have ability to travel occasionally as required.
- Have ability to commute to Alpharetta, GA or Boca Raton, FL on a Hybrid basis.
