Responsibilities
- Post accounting entries in accordance with current standards
- Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
- Prepare and submit tax filings and reports required by regulatory agencies
- Assist with the monthly close and the preparation of management reports
- Develop and implement internal accounting procedures
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documents and explanations
- Monitor changes in accounting legislation
- Support other company departments with accounting information
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting
- Registration with the Regional Accounting Council (CRC)
- Experience with ERP systems
- Proficiency in Thomson Reuters products
- Experience in accounting routines
- Knowledge of tax and fiscal legislation
- Experience working with Lucro Real, Lucro Presumido and Simples Nacional regimes (Brazilian tax regimes)
- Knowledge of IFRS and Brazilian accounting standards
