About the role
- Assistant Comptable managing accounting tasks mainly for the Spanish entity at Pangea Aerospace. Supporting the French subsidiary and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the accounting inbox and follow up on incoming requests
- Record supplier invoices in the ERP (Odoo), ensuring correct accounting and tax allocation, primarily according to Spanish standards
- Participate in accounting tasks for the French subsidiary in accordance with local regulations
- Prepare bi-weekly payment batches for approval and execution
- Develop and optimize data-entry processes in Odoo
- Assist external accountants by providing required information and resolving variances during monthly closings (mainly for Spain, in coordination with France)
- Update and reconcile bank transaction files to ensure reliable financial tracking
- Verify invoices processed via Payhawk, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Requirements
- Experience in accounting or finance
- Good knowledge of Spanish accounting standards (PGC) and related taxation
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of French accounting
- Experience with an ERP, ideally Odoo
- Strong Excel skills (data management, reconciliations, basic formulas)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across different entities and meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Professional English required; French and/or Spanish appreciated
- Diploma such as BTS in Accounting and Management, DCG, or equivalent
