About the role

Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Lead the architecture of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, translating complex data into actionable narratives for the leadership team and Board.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and stress-test sophisticated models that support long-term business planning, pricing strategies, and future funding rounds.
- Operational Excellence: Own the end-to-end finance function—from AP/AR and payroll to a seamless month-end close—ensuring total financial integrity.
- Business Partnering: Act as a commercial advisor to department heads, aligning departmental spend with Quorso’s overarching strategic priorities.
- Cash Leadership: Master our working capital and cash flow optimization, maintaining the "single source of truth" for our financial health.
- Compliance & Governance: Lead the relationship with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring we stay ahead of regulatory requirements as we expand.
- Process Innovation: Proactively identify and implement automation and workflow improvements to keep the finance function lean and scalable.
Requirements
- Qualified Expert: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent qualification.
- Proven Track Record: 5–8 years of progressive experience, ideally transitioning from a "Big 4" or top-tier firm into a high-growth commercial role.
- SaaS Specialist: You understand the nuances of SaaS metrics (ARR, LTV/CAC, Churn) and how they impact financial reporting.
- Strategic Thinker: You look beyond the spreadsheet to see the "why" behind the numbers, offering solutions rather than just spotting variances.
- PE-Ready: Experience within a private equity-backed environment is highly desirable; you understand the rigor and reporting cadences required.
- Agile & Hands-on: You are comfortable toggling between high-level board decks and deep-diving into the ledger.
