About the role
- Quality Assurance Specialist improving claims performance for the QBE Claims team. Conducting audits and quality assurance reviews to enhance compliance and performance in insurance claims management.
Responsibilities
- Lead deep dive reviews, update QA questionnaires, ensure timely delivery of the QA schedule, and follow up on audit action items.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews, audits, and analyses; provide feedback and ensure reports are completed to a high standard and delivered on time.
- Analyse claims performance using file reviews and data extraction, document findings, and communicate results to the business and regulators as required.
- Monitor team performance, implement improvement plans, and provide coaching based on review outcomes to support continuous development.
- Collaborate with the business to set and implement the strategic direction for claims management, including identifying and executing improvement initiatives.
- Maintain high levels of expertise through ongoing training, industry networking, and strict compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in file reviews, audits, and quality assurance, with a strong technical background in general insurance claims.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of building collaborative relationships across all stakeholder levels.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and highly organised with a self-motivated approach to work.
- Proven ability to deliver high performance and confidently present outcomes to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
- Skilled in coaching, training, and providing actionable feedback based on data analysis and reporting.
