Responsibilities
You develop and operate the central Google Cloud platform that enables modern applications and services across the company.
You implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and automate deployments, infrastructure provisioning and security setups.
You manage and scale Kubernetes clusters (GKE), ensuring stability and security.
You collaborate closely with IT, business and development teams to ensure cloud solutions are optimally integrated.
You identify optimization opportunities, apply best practices and drive continuous improvements of the platform.
You take ownership of operations, monitoring and ongoing development — ensuring the cloud environment remains reliable, secure and future-ready.
Requirements
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — AWS or Azure experience is an alternative
Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with monitoring, logging and security in cloud environments
Very good German and English language skills
Cloud or DevOps certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, etc.) — a plus but not required
Experience with hybrid IT environments and cloud migrations
Knowledge of networking technologies and IT security architectures
Experience working in large, international corporate environments
