About the role
- Financial Reporting Expert shaping the finance team at leading motor insurance provider Prima. Involves financial reporting, coaching juniors, and process optimization in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparing the statutory financial statements of the Company according to IAS/IFRS
- Managing infra-annual closing activities (monthly, quarterly and semi-annual)
- Coaching a pool of talented and passionate junior colleagues
- Supporting the Finance Business Partners and Corporate Finance team in the planning process
- Driving process optimization and efficiency enhancing functionalities of existing tools
- Collaborating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation
- Acting as point of contact with Management and business teams on financial reporting and accounting topics
Requirements
- Outstanding academic background in Accounting studies
- Previous experiences (at least 3 years) in Big 4 audit firms or in accounting departments of fast-growing companies
- Positive mind-set, pragmatic attitude, ownership mentality and a "can do" attitude
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Analytical skills, precision and attention to details
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Willing to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
