Responsibilities
Partner with the CEO and executives to provide data-driven financial insights.
Own long-term financial strategy, including growth planning, profitability targets, and risk management.
Lead financial and operational analyses related to business performance, market opportunities, pricing changes, and expansion initiatives.
Present financial insights to stakeholders, investors, and the Board.
Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with SaaS best practices.
Oversee accounting, compliance, and audit processes for financial integrity.
Simplify complex financial data for non-financial leaders.
Own and drive company-wide understanding and optimization of key SaaS metrics, including ARR, bookings, revenue recognition, net retention, churn, gross margin, LTV/CAC, Magic Number, and cohort performance.
Partner closely with GTM leadership to analyze performance drivers across the full revenue funnel.
Establish frameworks for predictable, scalable growth.
Lead pricing strategy, including packaging, discounting frameworks, monetization experiments, and pricing governance.
Oversee or closely partner with Revenue Operations and Sales Operations, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, customer success, and finance.
Drive forecasting accuracy, pipeline health analysis, quota modeling, incentive design, and revenue efficiency.
Use financial and operational data to improve conversion, retention, expansion, and overall revenue quality.
Own the development of sophisticated financial models, including long-range plans, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and investment cases.
Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives such as new product launches, pricing changes, geographic expansion, and organizational restructuring.
Support M&A, partnerships, and strategic investments as applicable.
Lead People/HR functions, ensuring financial discipline in workforce planning.
Collaborate on org design, headcount planning, compensation frameworks, incentive plans, and performance management.
Ground people's decisions in financial sustainability and talent strategy.
Mentor senior leaders in Finance and People teams.
Build and lead a high-performing Finance organization focused on accountability and improvement.
Set a strong tone at the top for operational rigor, transparency, and collaboration across functions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or equivalent preferred.
US GAAP experience and international IFRS accounting experience
10+ years of progressive experience in finance, including senior leadership roles within high-growth SaaS or technology-driven organizations.
Experience managing a team and partnering closely with CEOs and executive teams.
Hands-on leader willing to roll up their sleeves while building and managing high-performing teams.
Deep expertise in SaaS financial models, subscription revenue, and performance metrics.
Hands-on experience in pricing strategy, revenue operations, sales operations, and go-to-market financial enablement.
Experience leading or heavily influencing People / HR functions, including compensation, workforce planning, and organizational scaling.
Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial and operational topics to diverse stakeholders.
Advanced financial modeling capabilities, including scenario-based and multi-variable models.
