Responsibilities
- Performing month-end closing procedures including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers and GL account reconciliations
- Hold detailed understanding of different European payrolls
- Performing review of revenue transactions and related contracts to ensure appropriate revenue recognition
- Assisting with the implementation of new systems
- Calculate royalty payments to our authors and perform reviews to ensure accurate computation
- Assisting with financial statement audits
- Conducting ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification preferred
- US Multinational accounting experience preferred but not essential
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of related or equivalent experience; or 3+ years with an advanced degree
- Understanding of US and various European GAAP
- Understanding of new revenue recognition guidance as prescribed under ASC 606 preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical abilities
