About the role
- Pallet Quality Auditor responsible for auditing and inspecting pallets per quality standards. Joining PLA, a leading pallet management solutions provider in the US.
Responsibilities
- Auditing pallets from repair lines to ensure they meet customer criteria.
- Dividing and distributing pallets based on quality criteria and grade of pallet.
- Maintaining accurate records on pallets repaired and audit scores.
- Adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
- Lifting and moving 75lb wooden Chep pallets to inspect them and move them into their designated areas.
Requirements
- Experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and imperfections.
- Physical ability to repeatedly lift 75lb wooden Chep pallets.
- A deep understanding of quality criteria and grading standards.
- Experience maintaining accurate records, either on paper or electronically.
- A strong commitment to safety rules and regulations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
