About the role
- Senior Safety and Wellbeing Partner responsible for health, safety, and wellbeing across PEXA. Leading management of WHS systems and providing insights to senior leaders on safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the ongoing development and maintenance of HSW systems, policies and procedures, ensuring they are practical, compliant and consistently applied.
- Oversee incident, hazard and risk reporting, support WHS governance forums, and coordinate audits, reviews and assurance activities to ensure actions are effectively tracked and closed.
- Work closely with People & Culture, PX Partners and business leaders, providing guidance on health and safety obligations and supporting the delivery of practical training and resources.
- Ensure safety and wellbeing processes genuinely support how work gets done at PEXA.
Requirements
- 5 + years proven experience in a HSW systems role.
- Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, ideally in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining and embedding WHS management systems.
- Confidence in governance, reporting and risk management frameworks.
- Experience managing audits, assurance activities and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights.
- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or a related discipline.
